Eve Online : Controversy heating up

Following the microtransaction changes to Eve Online, there has been so many debates in the community. Ex community manager posted on the official forum and apologised for their non disclosed plans that changed the MMO drastically. Despite the apology, the community response has been strong. Eve Online is a subscription based MMO game but the recent changed with the Incarnia patch, there has been so many debates on message boards.

WHY THE DEBATE?

Eve Online players are angry how CCP has changed the MMO. Microtransactins were promised to not affect the gameplay but leaked documents showed that CCP had plans for other microtransaction types than customizations only, which would allow players to buy ships, weapons right away.
