New MMO from SyFy
Syfy is partnering with game developer Trion WorldWide to create a new game called "Defiance". It is expected to be released by the end of this year. We have found some new screenshots on TrianWorlds' website.
In a first-of-its-kind partnership, Trion and Syfy are collaborating to develop a new science-fiction franchise to be simultaneously launched as a global television program on Syfy and a massively multiplayer online action role-playing game (Syfy Action MMO) from Trion.
Syfy and Trion Worlds have been working together from day one to design the storyline, characters, and lore of the new franchise. The game and show will influence and depend on each other, and will evolve together based on the actions of their shared community.
Players of Trion’s Syfy Action MMO will explore a living, persistent world with ultra-high quality visuals. The game will be a 3rd-person action-shooter with visceral gun play, providing a more intense gaming experience than standard MMO RPGs.
