TERA Open Beta test and character creation

En Masse announced the details of TERA's Open Beta weekend that is beginning this Friday. If you pre-ordered the game, you get 24 hours of advantage. Players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to create a character and reserve their favorite character name before anyone else grabs it. Continue reading for the details.

It's time to reserve your TERA character name!

TERA's Open Beta test weekend is only hours away. From Thursday, April 19, those who have pre-ordered TERA will be able to create their permanent character and carry it over to the Early Access which one 24 hours before the official release of the game. The rule applies the same way for account creation. If you have not pre-ordered TERA, then you will have access to this Open Beta account creation on Friday.

Unfortunately players who want to create their character will have to download a giant patch as TERA's new Open Beta version uses a new build of the game. (4.3GB)

TERA Open Beta Instructions

1. Log in to your En Masse account. If you do not have an En Masse account yet, create one!
2. Click the Enter Code button on the right.
3. Enter the Open Beta Test code: TERABETA
4. Click the Submit button.
5. Click the Download Game button under the Account Overview tab.
6. This will start downloading the game launcher.
7. Run the launcher and install the game so you'll be ready to go when the servers open!
8. Pre-Order Exclusive Event

   Begins: Thursday, April 19 at 12:00 PM Pacific
   Ends: Friday, April 20 at 12:00 PM Pacific

   Open Event

   Begins: Friday, April 20 at 12:00 PM Pacific
