Ubisoft's first tactical shooter MMO game, Ghost Recon Online is an incredible shooter, especially if you like tactical shooters and Ghost Recon franchise in particular. In Open Beta stage at the moment, it can take up to 15 minutes to get a match going but the excellent gameplay makes up for the glitches and gives you all sorts of reasons to pay another visit despite the wait. Ghost Recon Online: Finally A Tactical Shooter That's Already Proven Itself

Ghost Recon franchise means a lot to some shooter enthusiasts. I have to say I am one of them. Not all shooter fans love tactical games. Some prefer to stop worrying about tactical decisions and want to dive into the battlefield and bring down everything that's breathing.

Ghost Recon Online First Impressions

If you like a tactical shooter, you probably have already played Ghost Recon games. Then you're definitely going to love Ghost Recon Online. Ghost Recon Online takes all the working formulas from Ghost Recon series and turns it into an MMO.

You get to have your Ghost squad made up of other players this time. Ghost Recon Online offers three unique classes to choose from. You can choose from Assault, Recon and Specialist soldiers and join forces with other players in a team death-match battlefield. The game has its own voice server so you can communicate with the other members of your Ghost squad.

If you're familiar with Ghost Recon games, you have the cover system in Ghost Recon Online and the controls are very similar. You will just pick up and play. All weapons and armor are upgradeable thanks to the game's advanced equipment system. There are achievements for additional experience points and daily missions for even more extra XP.

So these are all the positives. What about the negatives? To begin with, it can take up to 15 minutes of waiting to get a match going in Ghost Recon Online. This depends on the time you play the game as well but no matter what time you play, some players may find it disturbing. However, once you join a match, you simply can't stop. The gameplay is, even at Beta stage, is really good. Ghost Recon Online is a must-play for the fans of the franchise and tactical shooters. We have a bunch of screen-shots and a short gameplay video but expect a lot more in the next few weeks, as this is a game that needs digesting before reviewing. (Let's hope people don't start using a Ghost Recon Online aimbot too)
