Aion Online is now free-to-play and new players have been trying to play the game since last night. Leave the login issues aside, there are two new players for the two races in game, The Elyos and the Asmodians. Aion Online went free-to-play and you we have been hearing about the login issues the new players have been struggling with. That's another topic. We are more interested in the two new trailers released by Gameforge to celebrate the free-to-play launch.

The videos are featuring the two playable races in game. Asmodians and Elyos. The two nations have been at war.

The Elyos, the human occupants of Elyseas were lucky enough to survive the catacylyssm, they have developed into graceful, nevertheless strong and capable creatures with light skin and radiant hair. The Elyos are grateful for their fate, warm-hearted and friendly, but also arrogant and proud.

The other trailer is for the Asmodians. The nation against the Elyos, were forced to take the top half of Atreia after the cataclysm: Asmodaeis encased in permanent darkness – the light of the star does not reach them. The Asmodians had no choice but to learn to live sparingly and in darkness, to bravely face the bleak situation and to grow around it. The darkness has made them grey haired and pale skinned, not to mention the eerie glow exudes from their eyes and they have claws on their hands and feet. They do however give everything including their life to beat the Elyos one day.
