LotRO Update 7 is now live

Turbine has just launched the latest content update, Update 7: Shades of the Past for its MMORPG "Lord of the Rings Online". Update 7 brings back a revamped version of Fornost and a revised version of Moria. Continue reading for release notes and Update 7 details.

Lord of the Rings Online - Update 7 is live

LotRO's new content update, Update 7: Shades of the Past has gone live earlier today and Turbine has posted the release notes covering all the changes that has arrived with the update.

Update 7, as we had written here before, features a revamped version of Fornost and Moria. Fornost is split into four seperate instances with with two levels of difficulty for groups of six players from levels 30-75.

Moria's revision consists of removal of "Moria's Iron Garrison" and the addition of tasks as well as collection boxes for players who are finished with the tasks. 

Storm on Methedras is the new skirmish that supports groups of 1-12 players and offers two tiers of difficulty, free for VIP and is accessible by players from level 20 to level 75.

There are Starlit Crystals for Legendary Items that are used to upgrade the Legendary items.
