Phantasy Star Online 2 to feature a Desert Planet.

Producer of Phantasy Star Online 2 has announced the results of the closed beta test and also introduced the new features they will be adding before the open beta kicks off for the upcoming MMO from Sega.

According to the Phantasy Star Blog, producer of Phantasy Star Online 2 at Sega has revealed their plans for Open Beta while he also presented the results of a successful Closed Beta testing.

As the fans are eagerly waiting for the release dates of the upcoming Open Beta, other fans are looking forward to getting their hands on the game for the first time since the Closed Beta was available for only a limited number of Phantasy Star fans.

Good news is that, Satoshi Sakai has covered the upcoming features for the Open Beta in the 2nd Fan Briefing. The upcoming Open Beta of the MMO will feature a new desert planet called "Liliipa". There are also new costumes, new story quests, and a time attack quest to be added before the launch of Open Beta.

Liliipa is a planet covered in sand. There was a civilization on the planet once but all there is left of it is the remains of the tructures.
