The Secret World Free Trial Launches

The Secret World's secret societies are no longer a secret. Illuminati, the Dragon and the Templars are now inviting all players around the world to try the game for free. Funcom has revealed the details of the upcoming 1-month celebration events, new content and the eagerly awaited free trial weekend. Read on for details.

The Secret World - Celebration Events and Free Trial Weekend

The Secret World's developer Funcom is getting ready to celebrate the game's first month. We are used to annual celebrations but Funcom thought it was a good idea to celebrate the one month success of the modern-day MMO. The Secret World has been one of the most discussed MMO's this summer and only weeks after its launch, thousands of MMO fans are looking forward to getting their chance to play it. 

Unfortunately, unlike many MMOs today, The Secret World is not free. There is still a chance for those willing to test the game. Subscription based MMO is going to open its gates to everyone as Funcom celebrates its 1st live month. 

As a part of the celebrations, Funcom will first release new content at the end of this month. The Secret World Issue #1 will add new missions, stories and mysteries...

From August 3rd next weekend, any player with or without a Funcom account can participate in the celebration events and test the game for free.

Between August 3 and August 7, those who solve 30 in-game missions will receive a special in-game shirt as well as 1200 Funcom points to spend at the in-game store. Players will also get 15 free fireworks to use during the celebrations.
