The Aurora World Comes to North America

Aurora Interactive has announced that it will soon be releasing its fantasy MMORPG title Aurora World in North America, with a deal made with GBE Games to release the game in the region after China. The game is well known in Asia and it features the war between the Gods in Heaven, which leaves the world in chaos. Aurora World offers players a 300 player massive scale PvP thanks to the developers own MMO game engine. Continue reading for first details and the announcement trailer.

Aurora World to be released in North America

GBE Games has reached an agreement with Aurora Interactive, China to bring the fantasy MMORPG title Aurora World to North America following the game's success in Asia, Korea and Turkey. 

When we read an announcement like this, we know the positives and negatives. Expect rich content and usually a well balanced gameplay as this is a game that's been online for years in Asia. The downside is, it will usually have poor graphics, which is natural for a 3-5 year old MMORPG. 

It's not too bad but you can tell the age of the MMORPG...

In The Aurora World, the people of the World suffer as the Gods in Heaven are at war. Without Gods, the world is in chaos and players join forces to beat the forces of evil.

Aurora World features eight professions that come up with their own unique specializations and mastery systems, crafting options, thousands of daily quests and a very extensive PvE experience. Apart from the PvE, the game is known for its solid PvP system that supports massive scale battles that 300 players can join concurrently.

The 300 player battle, also known as the Nation Clan Wars features a unique PK system and a coliseum game mode. The Aurora World's unique hybrid pet/mount system, is called the Majinns and helps players overcome the forces of evil.

Aurora Interactive has used its own game engine which supports high detail character models. You can watch the trailer below and decide for yourself. Nothing really spectacular but it does have decent graphics for a free MMORPG.
