Guild Wars 2 2nd Beta weekend announced

Guild Wars 2 fans were disappointed when ArenaNet had not announced the 2nd beta weekend last week. This time, they have got good news and bad news for us. Bad news is, we still have to wait another week. Good news is, now we know when Guild Wars 2 2nd Beta Weekend will launch.

I am not sure we should appreciate beta events. In the past, we used to wait for the release date of a game. Now we also have got the beta events and thanks to ArenaNet, we also have to wait for Beta Weekend announcements for Guild Wars 2 which is one of the most anticipated games of the year.

On to the good news; ArenaNet has confirmed that Guild Wars 2 2nd beta weekend event will take place from June 8th till June 11th.

Another great news is that the existing beta characters have not been deleted, and we will be able to continue from where we have left off after Beta Weekend event 1. Players with characters level 35 or higher will be able to test their mettle against the explorable version of the Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon.

Guild Wars 2, are thrilled to announce the second public Beta Weekend Event for Guild Wars 2. From 21:00 CEST (20:00 BST) Friday 8th June, until 08:59 CEST (07:59 BST) Monday 11th June, hundreds of thousands of fans who have pre-purchased Guild Wars 2 will have another chance to explore the world of Tyria.
