Jagex Release New Screenshots for Transformers MMO
Runescape's developers Jagex, earlier this year, had announced its partnership with Hasbro to bring the Transformers franchise to the world of MMO games. Later this year, the developer had showcased the MMO at Botcon 2012 but it has been silent since then. Today, Jagex released the latest screenshots for Transformers Universe. It's too early to judge but read on to see the screenshots and gameplay trailer to decide for yourself.

Jagex and Hasbro's partnership to bring one of the most popular franchises in the entertainment industry in the last 25 years, The Transformers to MMO genre is exciting enough to sweep us off our feet. The game was showcased Botcon 2011 and Botcon 2012 consecutively.
This is the first time I see the screenshots of the game in months and I can't say I am impressed. The textures, specifically the environment models and textures, the buildings and everything except for Transformers themselves look like they are from a game from early 2000's. It's still too early to judge and there are more important things than graphics but it would have been better to see some really amazing screenshots but, and this is a big "but", it's a browser based game. So you should keep that in mind before you judge the game with the low resolution textures. When you see the gameplay trailer you will see that it's pretty impressive for a browser based MMO. I will leave it up to you to decide...
