SWTOR Producer Says That Free To Play Transformation Has Been A Success
No, there are no numbers yet. So it's just positive according to Star Wars The Old Republic's producer Jeff Hickman. Hickman, in his latest article proudly said that the free to play transformation of SWTOR has been a huge success. He doesn't use the word "huge" but he says the servers are rocking with increasing number of active users.
Hickman also says that, while they haven't yet fixed everything in The Old Republic, the six month period has been extremely well for them and that he is looking at a bright future for The Old Republic.
According to the post, Content Update 1.7 will introduce a special PvP area that community has been asking for. There are no details yet. And as we have heard before, Rise of the Hutt Cartel is coming later in Spring with five new levels, a new planet, new skills and storylines.

Character copying to public test servers feature has been long awaited and it looks like fans of SWTOR will have to wait a little bit longer. Maybe not a little. Hickman says Character Copy feature will arrive in the first part of 2013. Nothing specific.
