TERA servers merging
TERA's new producer letter is out and it has revealed big news for the fans of the MMORPG. About four months after the launch of the game, the producers have monitored TERA's servers and listened to players before making the decision to merge servers. That's right, TERA will have a Server Merge on September 18. If you are a player with several characters should read this carefully.

TERA's Servers Merging on September 18

Does it feel like TERA is not as popular as we expected it to be? TERA is a fantastic MMORPG but it has failed to receive too much attention especially before and after the launch of Guild Wars 2. It looks like it's not only an assumption, it's also a fact that the number of active players on TERA servers have been below par. Because of this, just like in any MMO, players have to wait longer for dungeons, they find it harder to make groups and all co-op missions are harder to complete.

The latest TERA producer letter revealed a server merge that is going to take place in two weeks. On September 18, TERA's servers will be merged to provide players with a more competitive and active environment where they don't have to wait for dungeons and groups. TERA's developer believes this shouldn't be seen as negative as it will only give players a more alive world.

The new update will not only merge the servers but there are also new in-game events and a battlegrounds tournament later in November. The post also hints on a number of other changes that we will see in TERA by the end of the year.
