The Secret World: Digging Deeper with Episode 2

The Secret World is not free. We're sure you already know that. If you already own the game, here is some good news for you. Funcom just announced the upcoming Episode, the next content update for the modern day MMO. The new update, Episode 2 "Digging Deeper" features new missions, new items and nightmare mode for more dungeons. Continue reading for more insight.

The Secret World - Episode 2 - Digging Deeper

Digging Deeper. Funcom is seriously digging deeper with the upcoming Episode for The Secret World. Subscription based MMORPG has been one of the most discussed MMO's in 2012. The debate on a possible f2p transformation is nothing more than speculative at the moment and Funcom with frequent update is trying to prove the game's worth the money you pay for it.

Well, I am sure some of you who has not purchased the game yet and with no plans to do so in the near future, will leave this post in a second. Oh before you go, let me tell you something interesting. The Secret World had a free weekend recently and I am expecting another one soon. Anyways, back to the Episode 2, Digging Deeper. Digging Deeper features a mighty rocket launcher. How cool does that sound? Imagine hunting them nasty zombies with a kick-ass rocket launcher. How about a chainsaw? Well, that's coming in the future, as Funcom has hinted about it in the announcement for this Episode 2.

Episode 2 also features a new mission pack, The Mission Pack #2 for The Secret World. Even to get your rocket launcher, you'll have to complete one of the new missions. But, who's complaining anyway? These missions are the best part of TSW, aren't they?

So, there are also two new nightmare modes becoming available for two more dungeons. The Facility and Hell Eternal. 

Are you already bored of your character? How about a complete make-over? Well, Funcom is introducing the new plastic surgeon, The Modern Prometheus who can change your face like Nip/Tuck's Christian Troy changed Escobar's face. It doesn't come cheap tho and you're not Escobar!

Funcom also added Ockham's Razor who deals with the beard and the moustache. Visit Ockham's Razor in London and lose that ugly beard of yours!
