World of Tanks: Incoming Credit Events

World of Tanks is free-to-play but that's it. You don't get too competitive if you don't buy credits in game. Tanks are not cheap. From special ammos to elite tanks, everything costs you extra. Yet it's one of the most popular combat MMOs out there. With its latest 8.1 version, World of Tanks looks and plays better than ever. How about some free credits and experience to give you a boost before 2013? Wargaming announced new events lined up for December. Continue reading to find out more.

World of Tanks - Special Events in December To Offer Free Credits and Experience

We all love free credits. It's the number one motivation to join an in-game event, in World of Tanks' case, a battle. If you've played World of Tanks, you already know that the whole gaming experience is about continuous battles. You don't even get to make a cup of coffee once you click the Battle button. Battle after battle, you need more ammos, armor repairs, crew training and better tanks... The game is extremely popular in NA and Europe, it's so hard to be one of the best tankers. And to be competitive like that, you need credits, period.

So if you've been looking to get one of those top tier tanks, Wargaming has got some good news for you. During the month of December, there will be a series of in-game events offering players a chance to win experience points and free credits.

You're going to have to watch the community portal to hear about upcoming events. Depending on the difficulty of the battle, winners will receive a medal along with free credits or experience points. Wargaming explained how the events will work out in terms of rewards (see below). 

Example events:

While “Operation Top Gun” is active, earning the Top Gun medal will reward you with 20,000 additional credits.

While “Operation Invader” is active, earning the Invader medal will reward you with 10,000 additional experience.

While “Operation Steel Wall” is active, earning the Steel Wall medal will reward you with 7,000 additional credits.
