WoW: Patch 5.04 will be available Aug. 28th

And now it's official. World of Warcraft's biggest update patch 5.04 is coming exactly in two weeks, one month prior to Mists of Pandaria expansion which will be released September 25th. Patch 5.04 will bring loads of new content including shared mounts, pets, and talent changes. Unlike the majority, some WOW players prefer to play Guild Wars 2 which happens to be released on the same day. Read on for Patch 5.04 details and a new image-gallery for Mists of Pandaria!

World of Warcraft Patch 5.04 releases August 28, 2012

Blizzard isn't allowing World of Warcraft players relax before the release of Mists of Pandaria expansion. On the contrary, they just make it even more stressful by releasing the upcoming patch 5.04 sooner than most anticipated. Actually it's going to be released on a date that may ring a bell! August 28th? No? That's the day ArenaNet will open the gates to Tyria. 

Patch 5.04 is the last patch before Mists of Pandaria expansion and includes Talent and User Interface changes as well as Pre expansion quests, other than the shared mounts and pets.

Blizzard also posted a note about raid lockout resets. 

Blizzard: "Please be aware that with the release of the pre-expansion 5.0.4 patch on Wednesday, August 29, all raid lockouts will be reset. This means that you will not be able to extend a raid lockout beyond the week before the patch release."
