WoW won't have any patch until Mist of Pandaria

World of Warcraft doesn't have the record of most active users in the MMO World anymore but this doesn't mean developers will stop there. As the next content update Mist of Pandaria is coming soon, there has been questions regarding the future of Cataclysm and patches.
In an interview at Videogamer, lead quest designer Dave Kosak revealed the details on what we will see and not see before the release of Mist of Pandaria.
Kosak said that Cataclysm has reached its climax with update 4.3 and they don't have any plans to release minor patches before Mist of Pandaria.
So we'll have a world event prior to Mists of Pandaria, but that's mostly a part of Mists of Pandaria's launch and it's not really more Cataclysm content.
Kosak also denied that Cataclysm has caused WoW players to start unsubscribing. He claimed that they have been doing a good job of redesigning the 1-60 of the game and that this refreshed the old world of Cataclysm.
We don't know if Kosak is right about how they made WoW a better game in the previous few months but it's a fact that the number of subscribers have been decreasing. We still know that WoW has so much to offer and current and old subscribers will surely give "Mist of Pandaria" a chance when it is out.
