Game of Thrones to be released this summer

With creative input from the original writer George R. R. Martin, Game of Thrones will be released this summer for the consoles and the PC. The fantasy role playing game will feature a brand new story in which players will be allowed to choose Mors, Sworn Brother of the Night’s Watch, or Alester, a Red Priest.

Game of Thrones is coming to gaming consoles and the PC this summer. The famous fantasy series written by George R.R. Martin, Cynaide and Focus Home Interactive release the fantasy RPG with an original story. Koch Media is going to distribute the game in June.

In Game of Thrones, players will develop their characters after they choose a class and create their own fighting style. Strengths and weakness of each character will be shaped by the players before they take part in epic battles. Players will also recognize the places in game from HBO's TV Show.

New equipment and weapons can be bought directly or players will have the chance to gather new gear from looting but it won't be all about the battles as political skills will also play a major role in game.

The game is powered by Unreal Engine 3 so the visuals are pretty good as you can see in the first couple of launch screen-shots above.
