Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend 2 won't be this weekend

Bad news, Guild Wars fans. ArenaNet has just confirmed on its Facebook page that there won't be the highly anticipated 2nd Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Event this weekend. ArenaNet says this is a technical level decision. Read on for the sad news.

Guild Wars 2 beta won't be this weekend

ArenaNet has just posted this on its Facebook page and announced that they won't be holding the 2nd of the Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend Events. According to the announcement, ArenaNet seems to be optimizing its servers according to the latest results of its internal stress tests. 

There is also no certain date for the 2nd Beta Weekend. So we don't even know if it's coming next weekend or next month. We are used to the fact that they don't like naming dates! No release date and now no date for the 2nd beta either... 

ArenaNet: Our BWE1 was super successful, we exceeded our expectations. As some of you might have experienced first hand, this lead to some technical issues. To make sure we are not running into the same situation for BWE2, we recently had a stress test, and we are currently deploying a lot of additional hardware in our datacenters.
