Ecol Tactics Online Enters Open Beta

GamesCampus is ready to launch the Open Beta of its new browser based tactical MMORPG "Ecol Tactics Online." We had an early look at the game back in January and enjoyed playing it even at an early stage. The game features a very tactical minded combat system as well as classic RPG elements. Despite its minor issues, Ecol Tactics is a very promising tactical MMO and we are looking to see its latest version during Open Beta. Read on for the new Open Beta Trailer.

Ecol Tactics is the latest tactical MMORPG on the market, a genre that seems to become more and more relevant as the months pass. If you’ve never played the likes of Final Fantasy Tactics or Ogre Battle, or even Dofus/Wakfu, then perhaps the idea of a tactical RPG sounds odd to you (especially online). The truth is: it’s incredibly natural, and the turn based nature of the genre makes it more of a fit for online. But what about his specific game, what about Ecol Tactics. It's one of my favorite genres but we don't get to play too many turn based MMOs. GamesCampus' is offering one in its upcoming browser based strategy MMO game. Today, the publisher has revealed the first teaser trailer of the MMO showcasing its isometric graphics which takes us back to the 90s with its pixel art characters.
