Back in December TERA went free to play in Korea. Now it's going free to play for all. Today En Masse has announced that the game is going to be free to play from February 2013. TERA's new free to play version will offer three different types of memberships. Free, Veteran and TERA Club. Players who already own the game will convert to Veteran while new players can purchase TERA club membership for extra benefits like additional character slots and more. In December 2012, we had reported that TERA was going free to play in Korea. We also had a guess that the game would slowly transform to Free to Play worldwide. That's happening faster than we thought it would be. The great news today is for all fans of the game. TERA is going free to play from next month (February). Some say, almost all subscription based are destined to go free to play at a point. Really, this seems to have been the case in recent years. The latests reports hint on a possible free to play transformation for the North American version of TERA. Maybe in 2013.
