AION Update 3.0 to Launch Next Week

Gameforge will release the most extensive update for AION next week, on August 15th. This new content update will feature two new areas; Sarpan and Tiamaranta, as well as faster mounts and an improved Housing System. There are also other minor features included in 3.0 update. AION 3.0 update features revealed - Update goes live August 15th

NCSoft's most successful MMO game "AION" is about to receive its most advanced content update to date. The new update, AION 3.0 will launch next Wednesday and will add two new areas to the MMORPG. 

Two new areas are the Sarpan and the Tiamaranta. These new areas offer PvE and PvP challenges. There will be many new instances, fortress battles and new boss monsters that will give players a tougher and more challenging experience in AION. 

AION's update 3.0 will also increase the level cap to level 60. This means extra motivation for the higher level players of Atreia. 

Fast Mounts and Housing System

Recently, in the MMO world, It has been all about the mounts, hasn't it? I am talking about several MMORPGs and their latest content updates. We have been posting all the latest details on LotRO's new mounted combat and warbands and warsteeds. NCSoft did not forget to work on the mount system in AION for the new content update. The new update will bring fastest mounts to Atreia allowing players to increase their top speed, allowing them to reach far destinations in no time. I still wonder if there will be other changes to the mounts in the new update. 

Players will also see a new housing system, allowing them to decorate and style their houses when they are not battling. The new crafting feature allows new furtinuture creations.

AION has been free to play since its f2p launch back in February this year. The new update will go live next Wednesday.
