Go4Firefall announced!

As the open beta has launched for Firefall, the open world shooter from Red 5 Studios, the developer has announced the 1st Firefall Open Beta tournament : "Go4Firefall". Go4Firefall is going to be open to players from all around the world and it will be offering cash prizes to Firefall teams. The new eSports game type "Jetball" will be the official game of the tournament when it begins on August 4th. Red 5 states that these tournaments will be held every month and prizes will range from $1,000 to $5,000.

The time has come for the fans of Red 5 Studios' open world shooter MMO game "Firefall". The Open Beta has just kicked off, allowing anyone to download and visit New Eden, to fight the evil forces of The Chosen. Trying to get back in Firefall was such a long journey thanks to the patcher problems I run into every now and then. But this time it wasn’t only the patcher, this time it was also about the new 2-step authentication.Red 5 must have thought (because of the recent account issues in other games) they should introduce a 2-step authentication for greater security. Well, the compromise was the user experience. In this article, I will discuss extra security measures in games, recent changes to Firefall and the upcoming Open Beta.
